Valerian root or Melatonin? Which is better?
Melatonin a natural sleep aid that regulates sleep and waking cycles. Melatonin is the hormone that is naturally produced in bodies but the production of melatonin decreases as a person grows. Melatonin helps a person to fall asleep faster, but has no effect on total time. On the other hand, valerian root is one of the most effective natural sleep aids available and this herbal remedy has a long history of use for sleeping problems like insomnia.
It is still important to determine what works best when choosing any of the natural sleep aid mentioned above but what is good is that either of them can be taken with confidence that a person is working in harmony with his body rather than drugging into submission.
