On average, how long does it take a normaly well adjusted person to feel at one with living in a foreign place

In other words, how many years does it take for homesickness to wear off and for that person to feel relatively integrated into and at peace with their new environment?

Please note, I said ON AVERAGE. Yes, I fully realise everyone is dfferent and we are all individuals.

At least one year. Because you have to go though all the four seasons and its weather before you can say you know the new place and can start calling it your new home.
